You are barely coming out of your “lack of sleep fog” at this point. We encourage you to keep resting and sleeping when your baby does. Although you are starting to feel more like yourself it is important to continue to take care of you too. If you feel any signs of postpartum depression, ask for help. Your baby will be spending more time awake and you might even start to see a few rare smiles. At this age, babies should be moving their extremities equally, and they should be getting a bit better with their head control. It is normal at this ages for their eyes to cross occasionally. They should start to follow an object moving side to side and enjoy looking at your faces 🙂
